Embrace the Magnificence of Kata Tjuta & capture Uluru at sunset while sipping sparkling wine and enjoying a Aussie cooked BBQ.
One of the most spectacular and Beautiful sights you will ever see.

Itinerary
We collect you from outside the Outback Pioneer Resort in Yulara(Ayers Rock Resort) between 11.45am to 12.00pm(Noon), a packed lunch is provided while we drive to our first stop of the day, Kata-Kjuta also know as The Olgas.

Kata Kjuta
We travel to Kata Kjuta(Olgas) for the first walk of the day into Walpa Gorge, embrace the domes of Kata Kjuta on your 45mins walk while taking in the views of the open plains on your return walk.

Aboriginal Cultural Centre
We then head to Uluru national park and visit the Aboriginal Cultural Centre, at the centre you will have time to learn about the local Pitjantjatjara people and buy some souvenirs. The Cultural centre was built with 90,000 mud bricks with the help of the local Anangu people, it is built on a sacred site and has very special meaning to the local Anangu people.

Uluru - Mala Walk
We head to the base of Uluru/Ayers Rock next to the extrance to the climb, from here one of the two guides will take you on the Mala guided walk the first walk is the Mala walk next to the Uluru climb entrance, The mala walk follows the north-west side of Uluru. There are many fine examples of Anangu rock art along this walk, and you can experience the sheer vertical walls, the guide will tell stories of the Anangu people.

Uluru - Mutitjulu WaterHole
We drive from the front of Uluru around to Kuniya carpark(back of Uluru) from here we start our second guided walk to the Mutitjula waterhole, the guide will take you along a short track to the Mutitjulu waterhole, home of a wanampi, an ancestral watersnake. The guide will explain about some of the local tradition and how the Anangu people would use the waterhole for hunting. The caves containing rock art were used in the past by Anangu still alive today.

The Sunset BBQ
From here we head to the one of the best highlights of the day, The Uluru sunset with an Aussie BBQ, While the guides are cooking up dinner, watch the majestic Uluru change colour with a glass of bubbly and good Aussie tucker(food).

After Sunset we drop you back to Outback Pioneer Resort(Ayers Rock Resort). Tonight you will stay in Outback Pioneer Resort as part of the tour.

Day 2 - Operated by AAT Kings.
Today you'll rise before the birds to travel to Kings Creek Station. Although it's some time before sunrise, you may be lucky enough to see the outback coming to life. Keep an eye out for the local wildlife as they wake for the day – dromedary camels, kangaroos, brumbies and dingoes.

Outback Life at Kings Creek Station.
After a little under 2 hours on the road, you'll arrive at the enormous site of Kings Creek Station. Established in 1981, the station is a working cattle and camel station that covers an expanse of 1,800 square kilometres. You can take some time to explore station life and maybe even go on an optional camel ride led by the station hands. Or you can simply relax in the station café and treat yourself to a home cooked breakfast (own expense). Their coffee is said to be the best in the Outback!

Kings Canyon
It's back on to the coach now for the 30 minute drive to the amazing Kings Canyon. On arrival you'll realise that you're experiencing something out of the ordinary. Located in the heart of Watarrka National Park, Kings Canyon is set among an incredible ancient Australian landscape that is sacred ground for the Ulpinyali and Lilla people.
Rim Walk
If you're taking the six kilometre Rim Walk, you're in for a memorable experience. You'll climb up a 100 metre cliff face and walk around the rim of the canyon's sandstone walls. This walk has some of the most impressive views looking out over the sandstone cliffs and down over the cliff faces.

The Garden of Eden
270 metres down into the chasm, between the sandstone cliffs you'll arrive at a true oasis known as the Garden of Eden. Here, a natural spring waterhole surrounded by local and exotic plants and trees such as gums, bonsai looking trees and enormous prehistoric ferns all create a truly unique landscape.

Creek Bed Walk
If you're interested in something a little more relaxing, the Creek Bed Walk is ideal. Take a little more time to enjoy your surroundings before setting off on your 2 kilometre stroll following the rocky creek bed that will lead you to views of the impressive canyon rim.

Scenic Return Journey Sit back and enjoy the amazing outback scenery as we head back to Ayers Rock Resort. It's still daylight, so there's plenty to see along the way.
